Benefits of Massage

As people become more and more health conscious and turn to more holistic and manual methods of healing, as opposed to using medications to soothe the pain, massage therapy grows and continues to play a huge role in those whose lifestyles are focused on building and sustaining their body's overall wellness.

Reduction in Pain,
Anxiety & Stress

Having worked closely with many people who had simply accepted living with the daily aches and pains they feel in their body, I have not only provided but have also experienced the lasting effects from massage therapy. My soothing, relaxing and gentle approach dissolves stress, resulting in a more centered you. My personal experience is that using guided imagery meditation, while receiving massage, does enhance relaxation. See the Massage Aftercare page for more information.

Increase in Range of Motion &
a Reduction in Muscle Soreness

Both relaxing and therapeutic, my deep tissue massage routines have been personally developed to treat and relieve specific areas of the body (for example: the back, neck & shoulders, legs, etc) that commonly suffer from muscle soreness and fatigue, as well as increasing an otherwise limited range of motion. These routines include slowly guided and specifically targeted treatment of individual muscles that group together to make up the entire area that you may feel sore or have limited movement.

Supports your Current
Fitness or Sports Program

Massage Therapy reduces muscle soreness, enabling you to recover more quickly from an intense workout. Considering proper nutrition and hydration, you will also gain flexibility and increased range of motion, helping you get the most out of your workout program, when massage is added at regular (usually weekly) intervals.
